CONFIGURATION:
Changing
the number of devices:
- Right-click on the DAEMON Tools trayicon
- Select Virtual CD/DVD-ROM
- Select Set number of devices...
- Click on a number
Changing drive
letters and DVD region code:
- Right-click on the DAEMON Tools trayicon
- Select Virtual CD/DVD-ROM
- Select Device [?:]
- Click Set device parameters
- Select Drive letter and/or DVD region
- Click OK (or Cancel to leave without saving
changes)
Changing
Vendor, Model, and Revision
- Right-click on the DAEMON Tools trayicon
- Select Virtual CD/DVD-ROM
- Select Device [?:]
- Click Set device parameters
- Enter Vendor, Model, and Revision information
- Click OK (or Cancel to leave without saving
changes)
Changing
audio properties
Using digital audio (recommended):
- Right-click on the DAEMON Tools trayicon
- Select options
- Select Analog audio
Using analog audio (use only if digital doesn't
work):
- Right-click on the DAEMON Tools trayicon
- Select options
- Deselect Analog audio
- Right-click on the DAEMON Tools trayicon
- Select Virtual CD/DVD-ROM
- Select Device [?:]
- Click Set device parameters
- Enter Sound information
- Click OK (or Cancel to leave without saving
changes)
Windows 9x/ME:
- Click Start
- Select Settings
- Click Control Panel
- Double-click Multimedia
- Click the CD Music tab
- Select the drive whose audio properties
you want to modify
- Uncheck Enable digital CD audio for this
CD-ROM device
Windows NT/2000/XP
- Double-click on My Computer
- Right-click on your harddrive
- Click Properties
- Click the Hardware tab
- Click on the CDROM/DVDROM whose audio properties
you want to modify
- Click Properties
- Click the Properties tab
- Uncheck Enable digital CD audio for this
