The following programs accompany the paper. All were developed
on Intel platforms and have not been compiled or tested on other
platforms. The development platform was Windows NT version 3.1.
Most have been tested on Windows NT 3.1J and in general function
correctly with Japanese characters.

1. Internat - A Windows NT Unicode program demonstrating a variety
of internationalization features and functions of the Windows NT
operating system. Note: in Windows NT 3.1J, the operation CharToOem
under the Functions menu causes a fault when Unicode is the character
set being displayed.

2. Keymap - A Windows NT program that reads and displays a keyboard
layout. Keymap has versions that run as a Windows NT Unicode
application, a Windows 3.x program, and Win32 version that runs in
both Windows and Windows NT. This program works marginally using
Japanese input.

3. Locale - A Windows NT Unicode program that displays locale
information for all supported locales in the Windows NT operating
system. Users should have the Lucida Sans Unicode font installed for
best results.

4. MessageDemo - A Windows NT DOS program illustrating the use of
Message Tables and Format Message.

5. MLHello - A Windows NT program written in C++ that uses
multilingual resource files to run in three European languages. This
program also runs in Windows 3.1 with Win32s installed.

6. Enumstr - A Windows NT DOS program that enumerates and displays
strings stored in a program's resources by language and identifier.

7. Enumresx - A Windows NT DOS program that enumerates all resources
in a program by name, type and language.

8. Updatres - A Windows NT DOS program that updates resources in a
Windows NT program.
